Hyde park theatre
presents
waiting for godot
by Samuel Beckett
December 12-22, 2024
Eight shows only! Beckett's wildly funny, somewhat tragic, and acutely human play is a classic for a reason: it’s an existential comedy for uncertain times.
Some shows have already sold out—don’t wait to get your tickets.
HPT's production is directed by Mark Pickell of Capital T Theatre (IT IS MAGIC, There is a Happiness That Morning Is) and stars Ken Webster, Robert Pierson, Titos Menchaca, Matt Hislope, and Grant Pickell.
All shows start at 8:00 PM. The first week (Dec 12-14) shows are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The second week (Dec 18-22), shows are on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tickets for the Wednesday show are on a sliding scale. On other nights, tickets range from $23 to $28, with $2 off for seniors, active service members, and ACA/ASF members. Every Thursday is Pay What You Can Night--to take advantage of this offer, you can call 512-479-PLAY (7529) to make your Thursday reservation, or just come to the theater without a reservation.
