Thom Pain (based on nothing): the one-man piece that shook raves out of the jaded New York critics ("Astonishing in its impact" - New York Times) comes to Austin in a performance by HPT Artistic Director Ken Webster (St. Nicholas; Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll; House). Check out the April 13 Austin Chronicle cover story about Webster and Thom Pain.

Hilarious, curious, heartbreaking, astonishing. The Times said, "Will Eno is a Samuel Beckett for the Jon Stewart generation."

The show runs at 8:00 PM on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, April 12 - 28, three weeks only. Every Thursday is Pay What You Can Night; Friday and Saturday tickets are $17 ($15 for students, seniors, and ACOT members). Hyde Park Theatre is located at 511 W. 43rd Street. For reservations call 479-PLAY (7529).

Evening parking is available at Kenneth's Hair Salon, just south of the theater, and at the Hyde Park Church of Christ on the northeast corner of 43rd & Avenue B. We are grateful to them both for their generosity.
