In this apocalyptic tale full of passion and dark humor, Addie guards the secret of her land from an entrepeneur named Weed who wants to build an amusement park. When there's nothing left to bargain with, every deal is a matter of life and death.

Directed by Artistic Director Ken Webster, The Water Principle features HPT company members Katherine Catmull, Joey Hood, and Ken Webster.

SPECIAL BENEFIT PERFORMANCE AND RECEPTION Wednesday, June 8 to benefit S.O.S. (Save Our Springs). Reception with director and actors will follow the play. Tickets $25--all proceeds go to the S.O.S. Alliance. For this special performance, ticket sales will go through SOS at 477-2320 or pat@sosalliance.org.

And join us after the show Friday, June 10 for an opening weekend party--food, drink, good cheer.

The show runs at 8pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, June 9 - July 2. Every Thursday is Pay What You Can Night; Friday and Saturday tickets are $17 ($15 for students, seniors, and ACOT members). Hyde Park Theatre is located at 511 W. 43rd Street. For reservations call 479-PLAY (7529).
