The Austin Chronicle calls Perdita "superb, from beginning to end." The Austin American-Statesman says Jenni Rall is a "revelation" in this "tightly bound drama." In the world premiere of this eerie and dreamlike thriller by HPT literary manager Monika Bustamante, a college student is tied up in the basement of a kindly couple who insist she is their daughter, returned to them after being missing since childhood. Diabetic, in need of medication, and confused by insulin shock, the girl tries to piece together the truth.

Perdita stars Lana Dieterich, David Jones, Jenni Rall, and Cyndi Williams. The design team includes Paul Davis (set), Bradley Carlin (lighting), Diane Morrison (costume), and Robert S. FIsher (Sound).

The show runs at 8pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, September 4-27. Every Thursday is Pay What You Wish night; Friday and Saturday tickets are $15 ($13 for students, seniors, and ACOT members); the final Friday and Saturday, tickets are $16 and $14. The theater is located at 511 W. 43rd Street. For reservations call 479-PLAY.

On Friday, September 5, join us after the show for an opening night party at the theater to celebrate Ken Webster's two years as Hyde Park Artistic Director.
