Hyde Park Theatre is proud to present My Child, My Child, My Alien Child, written and performed by Zell Miller, III.

My Child, My Child, My Alien Child is Miller's very funny and very moving story about his son crash-landing into his life. Through poetry and laugh-out-loud monologues, Zell Miller, III takes you through all the frustration, confusion, and supreme joy of parenthood.

Directed by HPT Artistic Director Ken Webster, My Child, My Child, My Alien Child marks the first time Webster and Miller have combined their talents since their collaboration on the critically-acclaimed production of The Evidence of Silence Broken, which received three Critics Table Award nominations and three B. Iden Payne Award nominations

The show runs at 8:00 PM on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, March 22 - April 7, three weeks only. Every Thursday is Pay What You Can Night; Friday and Saturday tickets are $17 ($15 for students, seniors, and ACOT members). Hyde Park Theatre is located at 511 W. 43rd Street. For reservations call 479-PLAY (7529).

Zell Miller, III is an interdisciplinary theater artist/educator. He was voted by the Austin Chronicle readers as the "Best of Austin Author/Poet of 2004." A member of the 2004 Austin Slam Team, Zell is also featured in a documentary on slam poetry, Slam Planet: War of the Words. His play The Evidence of Silence Broken is included in an anthology on hip-hop theater by Theater Communications Group.

Evening parking is available at Kenneth's Hair Salon, just south of the theater, and at the Hyde Park Church of Christ on the northeast corner of 43rd & Avenue B. We are grateful to them both for their generosity.
